Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 236:28–29
“Jesus loved little children because of their freedom from wrong and their receptiveness of right.”
11 am (during the Sunday Service)
Children and young people up to 20 years are welcome to come along to the Christian Science Sunday School. Teaching is based firmly on the Bible. First lessons include the 10 Commandments, how to pray with the Lord’s Prayer and Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Ideas from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy help explain the Bible stories and develop an understanding of God as the loving Father-Mother of all.
Teaching is age appropriate for children and teenagers, including creative activities to reinforce the lessons for the younger children, advancing to more discussion style classes for teenagers.
The Sunday School is run by church members (mainly parents and grandparents themselves) who love sharing their understanding of the Bible and its relevance to daily life with the children. All adults involved have a DBS clearance for volunteering with young people.
We would appreciate a quick email if you are planning to visit with children or teenagers, so that we can prepare accordingly.

Babies and young children are cared for in our crèche. We have a good collection of toys, puzzles and books to keep them constructively busy while their parents attend the church service.
